The exact documents you need will depend on the type of cover or protection you are on, and are making a claim for.

In general, you will need the following;
1. Pictures and videos of the cars involved in the accident and the damaged areas.
2) Estimate of the repairs to be made.
3) Driver’s license of the person(s) driving the vehicles involved in the accident.
4) Police report if Third Party or theft claim.
5) Fire Service report if flood or fire damage.
6) Medical report if any person was hospitalized as a result of the incident.
7) Hospital bills and receipts if any person incurred hospital bills as a result of the incident.
Absolutely!! You will be fully insured just as when you're paying your premium at once. You are fully protected from day 1 and you remain protected all through the period for as long as you honour your installment payment obligation.

How long your claim takes depends on how faster you can get us all the documents and information needed, and how much your estimate is.

For perspective, below are the estimated turnaround times.

90 Minutest Fast Track Claims
Estimated repair costs up to GHS 2,000.00, settled within 90 minutes.

Minor Claims
stimated repair cost between GHS 2,000.00 and GHS 5,000.00, settled within 24 hours.

Medium Claims
Estimated repair cost between GHS 5,000.00 and GHS 10,000.00, settled within five days.

Major Claims Estimated repair cost of GHS 10,000.00 and above, settled within 10 days.
There are two main ways your claim will be settled.

1) Where your vehicle damages will be repaired at a partnered garage of our underwriter.
2) Where the agreed repair cost is paid to you as cash.

In a situation where your claim is paid to you as cash and you need help with repairing your vehicle, we can introduce you to one of our vetted and reliable garages or mechanic shops to assist you with the repairs.
In the case where your vehicle is beyond repair and you qualify for the claim, the Claims teams may recommend a total replacement for your car, or the full payment of the sum insured indicated for your vehicle when acquiring the insurance policy.
Remember, we hugely frown upon defaultment of payments.

As a policy;
1) There’s a 10% penalty applied to each payment that is missed or defaulted.
2) After 7 days of payments not made, your insurance policy shall be cancelled.
3)You will not qualify for a claim if you’ve defaulted on payment after 7 days.
